Prima Guide: "The little Fawful Guys are no match for Bowser's Fire Breath or big, stomping feet. He just squishes them and collects some coins. Mario and Luigi, on the other hand, must tackle these little monsters head-on. The Fawful Guys also have an off-screen companion much larger than them that offers a useful assist. Useful for the Fawful Guys, that is. Not so much for Mario and Luigi.
The Fawful Guy rushes the Bros. and bounces towards them, ready to do a little impact damage. Swat the Fawful Guy aside with a hammer strike.
When you see a purple tongue reach into the battlefield and steal a Fawful Guy, be ready for a fast-moving projectile attack.
